Risk Management

AIR QUALITY:  The City of Livingston now has Purple Air air quality stations throughout the city, which can be found here: https://www.livingstonmontana.org/community/page/air-quality-monitoring
If the level is red (number greater than 150) practices and games will be canceled.  If the level is orange (100-150) practices and games can continue but extra breaks/substitutions should be implemented. Yellow and Green are free to play with no restrictions.

Lightning: If there is a lightning strike within 10 miles, all players/coaches/parents should vacate the field and seek shelter.  Cars or dugouts are safe locations out of the storm. Practice must be delayed 30 minutes following the lightning strike.  If there is another lighting strike within 10 miles the 30 min delay timer must be restarted.  Play can resume once 30 minutes have elapsed without another lightning strike within 10 miles.  The best platform to know exactly how far lightning is away is the Weatherbug app which has a lightning map and will notify you if there is a strike within 10 miles.
