Program is open to Pre K - 2nd Grade (Ages 4 - 8)

Program divisions for Pre K, Kinder, and combined 1st/2nd

Registration Open September 26 - October 26, 2025
Program Begins: Saturday, November 1, 2025
Program Ends: Saturday, December 13, 2025

Little Dribblers is a non-competitive introduction to basketball for boys and girls. Players will practice the basics of dribbling, passing, and shooting while learning teamwork and sportsmanship in a supportive environment. Games are played for fun and instructional purposes only.

There are no other practices scheduled outside of Saturday sessions. Each team’s 1-hour time slot will include:

• 30 minutes of instruction/practice
• 30 minutes of scrimmage play

Team sessions are scheduled between 8:30 AM and 2:30 PM at Park High School RecPlex, 102 View Vista Drive.

Finalized session times:

9:00 am – 10:00 am: 1^st/2^nd Boys

10:15 am – 11:15 am: 1^st/2^nd Girls

11:30 am – 12:30 pm: Kindergarten

12:45 pm – 1:45 pm: 4/5 year olds

About Us
The Livingston Recreation Department is dedicated to offering basketball opportunities for students in Pre-K through 6th grade in Park County, Montana. Our program emphasizes skill development and fun for elementary-aged children by partnering with Jr. NBA and using their instructional curriculum. Additionally, we foster community connections by partnering with the Park High School Rangers basketball program to inspire and support our young athletes.

• All coaches receive free training and a coaching membership with NAYS
• Full or partial registration reimbursement, depending on the program, for coaches who complete requirements
• An outline of expectations will be provided before practices begin

PLEASE NOTE: Families, coaches, spectators, and players are guests in the Livingston Civic Center and Livingston School District buildings.
