Livingston Recreation Department welcomes Montana Outdoor Science School (MOSS) to our PIR Day programs!

MOSS inspires curiosity, awareness, and understanding of nature and science through quality educational experiences. We engage people through exploration and learning, and prepare students to care for the environment. Learn more about MOSS by visiting their website: https://www.outdoorscience.org/

Thanks to the Park County Community Foundation Grant and their generosity, this camp is offered at 50% of the standard rate.

PIR Day Camps are scheduled when school is out, so the FUN is in!

Camper Eligibility: Grades K - 5th
Cost: $53.00 per child per day
Camp Location: Livingston Civic Center, 229 River Drive
Camp Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
*if you need extended care from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. please note in the registration process, extended care is offered at no additional charge.

Friday, February 23 - Diamond in the Rough

Lots of people like rocks and minerals, but everyone loves a gem! Let’s explore what crystals are and how they form - maybe even  find a few of our own! We will also learn where precious metals like silver and gold come from. We will visit a local rock shop and see some spectacular specimens.
