Maintenance 1 – Streets Department (Public Works)

Full-time | Year-round | $23.02/hr (starting July 1, 2025)

The City of Livingston is hiring a full-time Maintenance 1 team member for our Streets Division. This entry-level position plays a vital role in the maintenance and repair of city streets, sidewalks, and trails. Work is hands-on, outdoors in all weather, and includes operating equipment, performing repairs, and assisting with snow removal, patching, and sweeping. Ideal candidates are reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn.

A valid driver’s license is required. CDL-B must be obtained within six months of hire. Experience in public works or construction is preferred but not required. Competitive benefits include retirement, health insurance, paid leave, and more.
