Controlled Burn planned for tomorrow Friday, May 7th

Livingston Fire plans to conduct a controlled burn tomorrow Friday, May 7th for the areas between Scenic Trail, Skyview Court, the Bitterroot walking trail and Bitterroot Street.  Given the correct weather conditions, this burn is scheduled between 8:30-12:00 (noon).

Walking trails may be closed for a short period of time for safety purposes, as most burns take a couple of hours to complete.

Montana Department of Environmental Quality has issued a permit for this burn. Area residents have been notified of the controlled burn.
