Livingston Police Department Overview

Recent events across the nation have brought the importance of fair and impartial policing into the forefront of the American conversations.

The City of Livingston and the Livingston Police Department are proud of our record of service to the community and want to provide as much information as we can on our structure, policies, guidance, and outcomes. The “Livingston Police Department Overview” attached below, is our effort to make that information easily accessible to our community, to foster a productive conversation with the community, and to ensure that our actions are a reflection of the character of our citizens and community.

We invite the public to visit the Police Department page for more information on activities, crime prevention resources, sexual/violent offender public notices, and other topics.  The Chief's annual reports are very informative depicting graphs on the types of calls officers respond to such as criminal related, traffic, animal, mental health suspicious persons, and trends over the years.

We are always available to answer questions or have conversations about any city policy.  If you wish to make an appointment to discuss any of these issues please contact that city at 823-6000.
