CDBG Revolving Loan Fund

Is your small business is having problems financing an expansion or major equipment purchase? We may be able to help.  The City of Livingston has partnered with the MSU Extension for the operation of the City of Livingston's economic development loan funds.  Financing may be available for businesses located in and around Livingston for new, relocating or expanding businesses.  The City and MSU Extension partner with area banks for business projects that create and retain employment.  Both private sector businesses and non-profit entities are eligible for funding.  Typical eligible business activities are land acquisition, construction, rehabilitation of commercial and industrial facilities, equipment, inventory or working capital.  Typical loans are between $10,000 and $200,000.  Loan terms are consistent with the projected use of funds and interest rates range from 5% to prime plus 1.5%.
