Passionate about Livingstons History? Now recruiting for City Historic Preservation Commission

The City of Livingston is seeking to fill two (2) vacancies for the Historic Preservation Commission. Each vacancy is for a city resident or an owner of property within the downtown historic district. The appointment for the Livingston City Historic Preservation Commission is for a three (3) year term. To qualify for the Livingston City Historic Preservation Commission, the applicant must possess the following qualifications: a U.S. citizen who is at least 18 years of age, a qualified elector, a resident of the County and State for at least 30 days and a city of Livingston resident or an owner of property within the downtown historic district who is a non-felon and of sound mind.

The deadline for applications is December 7, 2019, and the appointment is anticipated to occur during the first City Commission meeting on January 7, 2020.
