Meet Our Officers
Chief of Police
Darren Raney
Chief Raney was hired on September 1st, 1989. He was appointed Chief of Police on September 1st, 2001 after serving as Acting Chief since November of 2000. He has held numerous positions on the department, including Patrol Officer, Detective, Sergeant, Captain and Chief of Police.
Sergeant Corey Lussier
Sergeant Lussier was hired on June 1st, 1997. He was promoted to Sergeant on September 1st, 2002 after serving as a patrol officer.
Sergeant Dale Johnson
Sergeant Johnson was hired on November 1st, 1998. He was promoted to Sergeant on November 1st, 2007 after serving as a patrol officer.
Sergeant John "Buzz" Leonard
Officer Leonard was hired on October 23rd, 2001 and currently serves as a patrol officer. He is also trained as a bike patrol officer.
Detective Joseph Harris
Detective Harris was hired on February 1st, 2002. He was appointed detective in June 2010, and is trained as a bike patrol officer.
Patrol Officer Wayne Hard
Officer Hard was hired on October 1st, 2006 and currently serves as a patrol officer.
Patrol Officer Jessika Kynett
Officer Kynett was hired on September 1st, 2008 and currently serves as a patrol officer.
Detective Shawn Misner
Detective Misner was hired on October 1st, 2009 and currently serves as a detective.
Patrol Officer Tim "Will" Williams
Officer Williams was hired on October 16, 2009. He is a patrol officer currently assigned as a School Resource Officer during the school year.
Patrol Officer Andrew Emanuel
Officer Emanuel was hired on April 16, 2010 and currently serves as a patrol officer.
Patrol Officer Steven Kunnath
Officer Kunnath was hired on September 1, 2010 and currently serves as a patrol officer.
Probationary Patrol Officer Randy Schott
Officer Schott started with the Livingston Police Department on November 16, 2011. He comes to us with prior law enforcement experience and will serve as a patrol officer.
K9 Bobi
Bobi has been in service since the fall of 2010. He is a highly trained multi purpose police service dog, proficient in narcotics detection, tracking, building search, area search, article search, aggression control, suspect control, and officer/handler protection.
Bobi and handler, Officer Andrew Emanuel, provide an added level of service to the community.
