The main objective of the Livingston Water Department is to provide the citizens of Livingston with clean, safe water. The Water crew works hard maintaining the water lines, checking the wells, collecting samples and performing various tests to assure that this objective is met.

The present water supply for Livingston consists of six wells located throughout the city. Three reservoirs store all of the city's water. Total capacity of these reservoirs is 3,090,000 gallons. The City of Livingston provides water and sewer services inside and outside the city limits. It must be noted, however, that most of the water in the county area comes from private wells, and sewage is almost all septic.
Your water is metered and read electronically the first of each month.
Minimum Charge $11.55 per month for up to 1000 gallons usage; after that $10.38 base charge plus $2.32 per 1000 gallons.
If you notice a leak, please fix it as soon as possible, or it can result in an expensive water bill.
There is fluoride occurring naturally in the water. The Livingston Utility Department does not add fluoride to the water supply.
