
SPRING CLEAN UP 2011
The City crews will begin Spring Clean up on Monday, May 2, 2011, for RESIDENTIAL CUSTOMERS ONLY. The clean up is scheduled to last one week only. You can place your items in the location that you usually have your trash picked up, either in the alley or right off the boulevard in the street. You may put your items out the week before to avoid being missed.
The following is a list of what WILL be picked up: Dirt, rocks, concrete, asphalt, branches, brush (please note, we will no longer pick up brush on Tuesdays with the lawn trimmings), boards, wood, sheet rock, carpet, windows, shingles, porcelain sinks, toilets. Trash that WILL NOT be removed: Appliances, metal, car parts, furniture, paint cans, paper, plastic bags, boxes, grass, tires and mattresses. These items may be brought to our Transfer Station for a charge. Please do not put your items in plastic bags. They will not be picked up.
COMMERCIAL OR EXCESSIVE DEMOLITION PILES OF ONE (1) YARD OR MORE WILL NOT BE PICKED UP AND MAY BE SUBJECT TO A FINE!!!
ALL ITEMS MUST BE IN SEPARATE PILES AT LEAST TWO (2) FEET APART!!!
