Civic Center, Miles Park & Bandshell
The Civic Center, Miles Park and Bandshell are available to rent for any occasion. From Sporting Events to Family Reunions, Fundraisers etc.
If you are hosting an event that requires use of one of these spaces, you must call the Recreation Department at 223-2233 to ensure availability and complete the rental agreement. Rental agreements are no longer available for download - we are processing all rentals over the phone for accurate details!
The applications with deposit and payment may be brought to the Recreation Office at the Civic Center, Monday-Friday 9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. or may be paid online via our CivicRec online system.
A $100 refundable security deposit is required to reserve the space for your event, this must be a separate check.

Three shelters in the city park system are available to rent April 1 - October 31 and are offered in the following time blocks: 8:00am-3:00pm or 3:30pm-10:00pm. Between November 1 and March 31, pavilions are used on a first come, first served basis. Reservation requests that exceed 100 people will be considered under a Special Event Permit which is required for any park reservation with a group size of 100 or more people. NOTE: Opening and closing dates of the rental season are weather dependent and will be determined by the Parks Foreman.Please call the Recreation Department for more information and pricing, 223-2233.
Gathering areas outside of the gazebo and shelter at Sacajawea Park are available on a first come, first served basis.
If group size requires exclusive use of space, contact the Recreation Department for rental options. We encourage the public to be considerate and neighborly while using the City of Livingston Parks, Facilities and Trails.
If any of the following conditions are met, a Special Events Permit must be submitted to the City of Livingston.
- Event with 300 or more persons
- Event which charges the public an entrance fee
- Event which serves and charges the public for food, alcohol or other beverages
- Event which requires a City street closure
Please review the Special Event information carefully and fill out your application as completely as possible. All aspects of the application are important in the planning of a successful event. The City Administration will review and approve your application. No dates are secure until final approval.
