The Recreation Department is proud to offer a wide variety of youth oriented programs from painting and drawing classes to basketball, gymnastics, Camp Sacajawea, and more! We take pride in creating an environment for Livingston's youth that is safe, learning oriented and helps develop good self-esteem and sportsmanship.
The Civic Center has had several recent updates and its beautiful exterior now matches its wonderful location inside of Sacajawea Park. The Civic Center has recently had new front doors installed and also a new kitchen door. The front lobby has been freshly painted. We now have updated bathrooms including a handicap stall. The Civic Center recently completed an "energy efficiency" project; this included new lighting, doors, insulation and windows. Completion of this project was made possible by a grant the City received for $156,275 from the State of Montana.
The Civic Center is a great place to rent for a wide variety of functions. If you have an upcoming function please be sure to check out our special event application. This will help guide you to all options available and inform you of rental prices for the Civic Center and band shell area. You'll find that we are a very reasonable rental option. Please contact the Recreation Director for pricing and availability.
The Recreation Program is now accepting registration for Youth Basketball (grades K-6). Click here for the registration form and information sheet. Forms received by November 22nd will receive an additional $5 discount. $5 discount for additional sibling registration, too. DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS DECEMBER 16TH. FORMS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AFTER THIS DATE.
