Livingston's Water Department provides the citizens of Livingston with clean, safe water. The Water crew works hard maintaining the water mains, checking the wells, collecting samples and performing various tests.
City water is provided by six wells located throughout the city. Water Quality is tested monthly to meet State Water Quality Standards. Three reservoirs store 3,090,000 gallons.
Fun Facts:
- Your water is metered and read electronically at the end of each month
- If you notice a leak please fix it as soon as possible, or it can result in an expensive water bill
- With fluoride occurring naturally in the water the Water Department does not add fluoride to the water supply
- The average water pressure throughout town is 90 psi
