Livingston Planning Department

Livingston's Planning Department can help you with all of your questions relating to the City's Growth Policy, Zoning Ordinance, Subdivision Regulations or Historic Preservation program. In addition, this Department is also the point of contact for issues involving annexation, street abandonment or special assessments.

The Planning Department staffs the City Planning Board as well as the Board of Adjustment. The Planning Board reviews subdivision applications, zone change requests and zoning text amendments. The Board of Adjustment reviews variance and special exception applications.
