Parks Master Plan

The City of Livingston has established a Steering Committee for the purpose of developing a "Master Plan" for our parks and recreation system.  As part of that effort, and with the City Commission's guidance, the Steering Committee advertised a Request for Qualification (RFQ), in order to select a qualified consultant that would lead in the completion of a "Master Plan" effort.  The Steering Committee then selected a sub-committee of 6 members to evaluate all submissions, interview finalists, and make a recommendation (back to the Steering Committee) for final award to be presented to the City Commission.

The RFQ process resulted in the submission of three (3) applicants:  Design Works West, Sanderson-Steward Engineering and CTA Engineering.  Based on the pre-determined point system, CTA Engineering and Sanderson-Steward Engineering were invited for follow-up interviews with the sub-committee on March 8, 2011.  Both firms made excellent presentations, and appeared very capable of completing the "Master Plan" process.  However, in very close scoring, the sub-committee reached consensus that CTA Engineering be selected as the finalist for contract award.  This recommendation has been reviewed, and approved, at a meeting of the Executive Committee - and was approved by the City Commission for final action at their regular City Commission meeting held on April 19, 2011.

Below is the "Master Plan" in its entirety.
