CITY PARKING
RULES AND REGULATIONS
The city of Livingston has a few parking rules and regulations. Here is a short overview of those regulations.
There are two 2-HOUR-PARKING signs located on each block in the downtown area. They are located toward the corner of each block. Other signs that you might see are LOADING ZONE and RESERVED PARKING. Loading zones are for short duration loading and unloading of vehicles only, You must be actively loading or unloading your vehicle when parked in these areas. The reserved parking will be for special vehicles identified by license plate numbers listed on the sign matching the vehicles allowed to park in the spot.
HANDICAP spots are visible with the wheelchair symbol. These signs are blue in color. Handicap spots also fall under the 2-Hour-Parking regulation. There may or may not be a blue stripe painted on the curb. The painting is done as a courtesy and is not mandated by law.
