Yard Waste Collection

GRASS, YARD WASTE AND LEAF PICKUP

This service will resume on Tuesday, May 3, 2011.  This is a very popular program that the City of Livingston offers at no charge.  This service has changed from Monday morning to Tuesday and Thursday mornings.  Please set your automated green cans out early Tuesday morning.  However, it may take until Thursday for these to be emptied.

This program has greatly reduced the amount of trash that ends up in the landfill.  If you don't have a green container please call the Livingston Utility Office at 222-1142 to have one delivered.

Please do not overfill these containers as our employees can't lift them.

Please do not bag the clippings in these containers.  Keeping plastic out of the compost pile is very important.  Please do not put plastic, dirt, rocks, limbs, garbage or animal feces in your green container.

Please do not leave debris on boulevard.  Limbs that are in bundles and any large amounts of lawn clippings should be brought by you to our compost site, next to our transfer station at 330 Bennett Street, Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. or Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
