GRASS, YARD WASTE AND LEAF PICKUP
Automated yard waste pickup will begin on Tuesday May 4, 2010 and will continue every Tuesday through October. Grass, yard waste and leaves contained in the City's green automated cans are picked up at the curb on Tuesdays. Please do not put any garbage, large rocks, large amounts of dirt or animal waste in the green cans.
The City will not be doing manual yard waste pick up. Citizens are welcome to bring their yard waste, leaves, branches, weeds and garden leavings to the City compost pile located behind the City shops. The compost pile is available Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 PM and Saturday from 9:30 am to 4:30 PM. To stay on EPA's good side we ask that no garbage, plastic or paper bags or animal waste be included in the compost. .
