
2012 Dog and Cat Licenses are now available at the City Office located at 414 East Callender.
Livingston is a pet friendly town. But there are a few rules and regulations to ensure that the city is also people friendly.
Pet Licenses
Dogs and cats require pet license in the city limits. License are due January 1 every year. To obtain a license, proof of current rabies vaccination must be presented at the City Offices in the City-County Complex on 414 East Callender Street.
Pet license are required for two reasons. First, help return lost pets to their homes as quickly as possible. Second, to ensure that all pets are properly vaccinated against rabies.

Citations can be issued for non-compliance and pets can be confiscated.
Leash Law
Miles Park and Mayors landing are places provided for dogs to be off leash. Off leash pets are required to be under voice control in these areas. All other parts of the city require leashes.
No dogs are allowed in Sacajawea Park.
Spay and Neuter Clinics
Spay and neuter clinics are held every few months to help pet owners defray the cost of this expense. Please check periodically for one in our area.
